Roli Gupta is an investment and fund management adviser to the National Skill Development Corporation working on the NSDC Skill Fund as part of the World Bank SANKALP project. Roli has investing and operating experience covering venture investments, private equity, entrepreneurship, business strategy, investment banking and corporate development. She has played multiple roles across varied organizations with a wide exposure across the investment spectrum – ranging from early stage venture investing to growth stage private equity/buy-outs.
Previously, as part of Snapdeal, she led the Investment Management and M&A integration of Snapdeal's series of acquisitions and new investments across consumer-tech platforms including India’s largest m-commerce acquisition. Prior to that, she was part of India investment team of Navis Capital Partners, a private equity firm managing $5bn in capital commitments. She has experience across multiple sectors including retail and consumer, food and agri-business, education, healthcare, infra services and industrials. She also served on the EXCO/ management committees of investee companies and has operational experience in corporate budgeting, strategic planning, new business expansion and P&L management.
Roli holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy & Finance from the International Management Institute (IMI) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons.) from Delhi University.
